Prof Dr Rakesh Kumar Vij is head of placements of Pandit Deendayal Energy University along with professor of practise in the department of Petroleum Engineering. Dr Vij has a doctorate degree in Petroleum Engineering and was director of school of petroleum technology for last more than 3 years. Prior to his academic career Dr Vij served as Reservoir engineer for 39 years in ONGC and rose to the position of Executive Director and Asset Manager of Jorhat assets, Assam. Dr Vij Travel around globe more than 30 countries and served in around 100 international conferences in India, Malaysia, UAE, Singapore, Japan and USA. Dr Vij Has published around 80 technical research papers out of which 30 are Scopus papers during his academic carrier. Dr Vij has also 10 patent to his credit and currently leading research groups on enhanced oil recovery, CCUS , Green hydrogen production and bio fuels.
